Prep time: 20 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
3 big, red, deep red bell peppers OR a 24 ounce jar of roasted red peppers
1 cup walnuts
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 small onion
1/3 teaspoon Aleppo pepper or red pepper paste
1/2 c. bread crumbs (about 4 كعك)
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
Directions:
Add red bell peppers to food processor and process until very fine. Repeat this step with the walnuts, onion, and breadcrumbs. Make sure processor is dry when adding breadcrumbs to avoid breadcrumbs sticking to the bowl.
Add all ingredients above together in a bowl. Add crushed garlic cloves and oil and mix well. Season with aleppo pepper, salt & sugar.
